Who Can Refer Borrowers?

You don’t need a license to refer — but you do need borrower consent.

Important: You must obtain written consent from each borrower before referring them to us.

Referral Compensation:

💸 $1,250 or 0.25% of loan amount — whichever is greater

💰 After 10 closed deals: $1,500 or 0.35% per loan

🎯 Bonuses: e.g., $500 for every 5th loan in a calendar quarter (when offered)

Paid within 14 business days of company receiving loan proceeds

Requires: W-9, payment details, and confirmed attribution

Min loan size: $125,000 — prorated below that.

⚠️ Referral payments are not made on self-deals or loans where the referrer is also the borrower (unless approved in writing).

How Attribution Works

  1. You refer a borrower using your link or form

  2. We contact them within 1 business day

  3. You get weekly updates

  4. You get paid when they close (within 14 days)

  5. Referrals are attributed to you for 90 days after submission

  6. In case of duplicates, first timestamped submission wins

  7. If a borrower was already known to Alvear, no compensation is due

Compliance & Restrictions

  • You are an independent contractor, not a broker or agent of Alvear

  • You may not advertise or use Alvear's branding without written approval

  • You may not quote interest rates, loan terms, or negotiate on our behalf

  • You must comply with privacy laws and transmit borrower info securely

  • Do not submit a referral unless you've received written consent from the borrower
